Amanda & Paul

Thursday 29th November 2018

Situated in the heart of the Gower is the wonderful country retreat of Fairyhill, the building itself is a grade 2 listed Georgian mansion, nestled within 24 acres of land. This provided the perfect location for the wedding of Amanda and Paul, which was my last wedding of 2018.

The weather forecast was looking grim with Storm Diana in full swing, I knew it would be a case of dodging the showers. The wedding was held at 3.30pm, with day light fast disappearing we only had limited time for photographs to be taken outside in natural light, and luckily we managed to get the main group shot done before the heavens opened!

As the evening progressed the wind and rain continued to hammer down on us, but we were lucky enough to have a brief rest bite which allowed us to venture outside for a few bride and groom shots in the dark, two of which involved sparklers and a smoke grenade!

Fairyhill is a venue that I would 100% recommend, the building and grounds are well maintained and looked after, staff were very friendly and helpful, and also the food was delicious. If anybody is looking for a wedding venue, then I would certainly recommend you take a look.

Amanda and Paul make a lovely couple, they seemed very at ease with each other and most importantly they looked very happy together! I wish you both all the luck and happiness for your future together.

Please see below for a small selection of images from the day, hope you enjoy.
