Carly & Andy

- Rosedew Farm.

Saturday 20th October 2018

Rosedew Farm was the perfect setting for Saturdays wedding, the whole place had an authentic rural, homegrown feel to it making it the perfect location for photography. With acres of farmland between the farm and the spectacular Llantwit coast we had plenty of options to play around with. The weather was fantastic for a late October wedding, after the morning mist disappeared we were left with glorious sunshine and a cool gentle breeze (which unfortunately blew over my light stand, smashing my speed light!).

Carly had booked me for bridal prep so I arrived at 8.30am to make a start on the detail shots. Andy was also staying on site in one of the many little cottages dotted around along with his best man and father, so I found myself jumping between cottages capturing both bride and groom preparations.

The wedding itself was held in the beautiful converted barn, which I must say looked stunning! The service just seemed to flow in a very natural way, and the bride and groom seemed very relaxed. After all the family photographs were taken we had around 45 minutes to get some bride and groom portraits that I wanted to capture, so we headed to the path just by the reception building, then along to the fields near the coastal path.

To conclude, Rosedew Farm is a fantastic location to get married in, staff were very friendly and helpful. Bride and Groom looked absolutely stunning, and looked very happy. I wish you both all the luck and happiness in your future together.
